How To Install A 270 Degree Awning To Your Ute Canopy
Posted on 26 February 2024 by Utemaster
270-degree awnings have grown in popularity because they are self-suspended and do not require ground poles for support.
This makes them fast to set up, and they won't get in the way of your camping setup!
In this article, we'll show you how to mount a 270-degree awning to your Utemaster Centurion Canopy™ with a Cantilever Roof Rack.
Which 270-degree awning works best with the Centurion Canopy?
The Bushwakka Extreme 270 works well with the Centurion Canopy™ because it has a strong aluminium frame and comes with all the right brackets you need to get set up.
When mounting, simply flip the supplied Bushwakka bracket so the longest edge is sitting vertically, this will give it the clearance required to open out over the side, see the example below:
The Bushwakka brackets must be bolted to the crossbars of the Cantilever Roof Rack. We recommend mounting the brackets hard against the side rail of the Cantilever Rack so it takes up less space on the rack itself.
This method will give you a strong and secure mounting solution for your Bushwakka Extreme 270 awning and allow you to have shade and shelter wherever your next adventure takes you.
